Curious question for bloggers and other DUers with political web sites... |
|
Yesterday my site traffic was nearly five times normal. I can't believe enough people consider my site enough of a "news" source to feel the need to check it when something big happens in the world, but that almost seems to be what happened yesterday. A lot of it seemed to come from Google searches, but as a percentage of overall traffic it wasn't much different than usual. Anyone experience similar spiked in traffic yesterday?

Especially World News Trust, gets a lot of hits from google. That said, you might be getting hit by an address morphing referral spambot, especially if you have a blog on your site.
