The Iraq War will ALWAYS be George W. Bush war. ALWAYS. |
|
A war of his creation and his initiation. A war he fraudulently led the nation into waging, a war that never needed to be fought and a war that did more harm than good for America and the world.
In 2009 a new president will be inaugurated (please spare me the conspiracy theories about Bush canceling the elections and declaring himself Emperor for Life. Some other time, OK.). I don't know who that will be or what he or she will do about Iraq, but even if the new president continues the war, sends in more troops, institutes a draft and steps up the bombing, the Iraq War will still be George W. Bush's war. Every soldier that is killed in Iraq, whether today or in 2009, will have been killed because of George W. Bush and his war. There will never be a statute of limitations for blaming Bush for this war. If we are still in Iraq in 2019, it will still be Bush's war and the blame for the day to day failures of the war should be directed only to Bush.

2. The history of this great ME war will start with a statement like |
|
"In March of 2003, George W. Bush ordered the attack on Iraq."
