I don't believe any force will "disarm" Hizbollah. Hizbollah will lay |
|
down their arms (not disarm) when there is a reasonable peace resolution that is agreed to. They will accept a UN force but only after Israel withdraws...my opinion.

If Israel are going for a military end-game, they will hound Hezbollah to the ground, regardless of price in civilian an military causalities.
Regardless, Lebanon, as a sovereign state has to reign in Hezbollah or there will be no peace...

sorry, that just don't work for me.
the power of the people has been lost and gone and the feudal lords of Israel and the US enjoy their good work of many decades to softbelly us into fear and conspicuous ignorance, consumpting ill gotten useless small pleasures instead of looking at ourselves in earnest in an honest mirror.

Just saying that the government of Lebanon has got to be in charge of their own territory before we can see any hope of lasting peace.

|
round up all the terrorisit Hezbollahs? how?
seems the US hasn't been too successful in rounding up the Al Qaida and all those lurking terrorists that abound, after how many years?... and they have a tad more resources than Lebanon....

Hezbollah trowing rockets at Israel at will from lebanese territory is certainly not acceptable.
The only reasonable solution is that the lebanese government take control of its own territory, not allowing puppets for foreign regimes playing havoc with their future.
As said, not easy...
