9/11 commemorative coin? WTF?! |
|
"24 carat gold...the proud eagle proudly displays 'God Bless America'...our 5th anniversary coin.."
:wtf:
You have got to be kidding me. Way to make money off of a tragedy. Sick.
The twin towers on the back pop up. They "rise up from the destruction of Ground Zero".
I remember seeing a thread about this a long time ago, but I figured I would post again about this...

3. Hint: history's winners celebrate victories. Losers do "Remembrance" days |
|
Do we celebrate Pearl Harbor? The 1814 burning of Washington DC? The Confederate Secession?
Hell no. We celebrate Washington's birthday, King's birthday, the 4th of July, Armistice Day, and Labor Day. Even Memorial Day is just an update of VE Day.
Sorry, but this country has so many accomplishments worthy of celebrating. Why allow a tragic loss to define us? I think the right thing to do is to defeat world terror networks and then celebrate that victory. Of course to do that, you'd first have to elect a president who gives a damn about catching bin Laden.
