I need help with Huffingtonpost.com
I don't know where else to go to ask for help but here. They have a promo for the movie World Trade Center that comes on audio every 30 seconds. I can't even read over there without it distracting me constantly. Where can I write to complain? I see no link anywhere or an e-mail address. Is this just bothering me or have others noticed?

1. It bothers me too
As soon as the sound starts, I just click off the page and leave Huffington Post.
If you find a way to complain, let me know.

2. Complaining about 9/11 heroes? Why do you hate America?
;):hi:

Is there an "x" in the corner of the ad? You can click on it to make it go away.:)

3. I don't hate America....
I just hate Huffingtonpost.com. :-) :hi: No place to click the commercial off. It's the audio I object to playing over and over again every 30 seconds. How can you read the articles with a commercial constantly playing? Very Irritating.

8. That is an answer but I hate to do it because
I'm sure I'll forget to turn it on again. I'm thinking another answer is not to read over there anymore. :argh:

14. I can't believe muting/unmuting the audio is such a big deal!
Handle routine things in a routine manner! One click on, one click off, not too taxing-I know you can can handle it easily! Probably a better solution than not going to the huffpo any more.

10. You think so?
Nothing has changed here though. I use the same browser and never had any previous problem. They just started playing this promo in the last couple of days with the audio.

9. I've noticed it! A lot
It's the only website I allow myself to visit at my new job, so every time it comes on, I've learned to wait, then hit pause. Of course, if you actually go to a blog, then return, it starts again....but, oh well

11. Wait, Is Turning The Volume Off Not A Viable Option?
Is there other content on that same page that requires audio or is the solution as simple as turning your volume down?

15. Thank you LeFort III
That worked!!!! Even if I had to get abused here to get the volume off, at least I can read there now in silence. It was worth it. :applause:
