I'm so sick of hearing about "Our Nation's Safety"
We are pretty god-dammed safe compared to some other countries.

Safety? I'm more likely to get hit by a truck or get killed by a drunk driver than I am by a terrorist, what is the government doing about that?

We are so selfish, we in our lives of luxury are so concerned with our "safety" when millions in Africa are starving and dieing from aids.

Americans live in a bubble, of consumerism and greed, and our worst fear is that something will burst it.

1. A nation of snivelling, pants-wetting babies. Which is just how Bush
and his stooges like it.

4. We have fear every day..of another kind
We have many neighborhoods rift with danger,so much so that people can't go out at night;afraid to even sit on their steps. We have people who can't afford their meds. Their health safety is in danger because the war has taken away that extra cushion of support the gov't should have for it's oldest and sickest citizens. Many are afriad every day if they will have a job to go to or be able to pay the rent for another month. This country has many living in fear,in many different ways every day. Some of our top politicians may have bunkers to hide in but most of us will have our pink cheeks exposed when the big one comes crashing into our living room. They tend to ignore this part of our world because it doesn't buy them the votes--the fear factor of which they count on for election years and fund raisers. The poor, the sick, the elderly living on a fixed income are not noted for their contributions for $1000 a plate dinners.

6. The world's lone-nut superpower!
Thanks to Bush and Co. terrorists are emboldened and Joe-public is told to be continuously afraid, be very continuously afraid.

The only thing to fear are the fearmongers themselves. Remember fear is an emotion which either triggers a fight or flight response!

Remember also, Hitler came to power without ever having got more than 33% of the vote!
