"Presidential Prayer Team" bemoans Bush's loss of vacation time

When vacation is over, is it hard for you to go back to work? This shouldn’t be a problem for the President, because much of his time away from the White House this week was spent on work related matters. In the midst of the many problems he shoulders, we should pray that when he returns to Washington D.C. on Sunday, he can still know special times when he senses the Lord restoring his soul.

On his latest radio broadcast, the President talked about recent government efforts to secure our nation’s borders. For example, the arrival of National Guard Units has allowed certain Border Patrols to move more agents into “front line” positions. He said border security was the beginning step to overall national change. Pray that additional steps can now be quickly taken, including “comprehensive immigration reform that honors the American tradition of the melting pot by helping newcomers assimilate.”

“Blessed are the peacemakers” said Jesus in his famous Sermon on the Mount. Along with others, our Secretary of State, Condolezza Rice, is attempting to play that role in the present complicated conflict between Israel and the Hezbollah. She certainly doesn’t have an easy task. She is no doubt aware of this even more than we are. The best way we can help out is through our faithful prayer support.

10. Interesting how they present a poll

They say that you have to log in to participate in the poll and then they give you the "yes" and "no" % but don't tell you the question. I wish someone else would join this place. I already have gotten my share of hateful mail from the Dobson team.

11. First time I saw that stupid site

I was sure it was either the Onion or Betty Bowers. They asked for examples of how my prayers helped "the President" so I gave them some stories about how Clinton (the "real" President) always did what people prayed for. When I started to read the other responses it gave me the willies and I never went there again.
