1. Isn't Camus' THE STRANGER the book the gay French NASCAR guy
was reading when he was zooming past Ricky Bobby in TALADEGA NIGHTS?

4. I think so. The French NASCAR nemesis of Ricky Bobby is shown in
one scene racing at break-neck speeds while reading the French edition of (I think) Camus' THE STRANGER.

2. He just finished reading "My Pet Goat"
HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE PRESIDENT!!! It is perfectly understandable that he reads "The Stranger". I mean, you can't just start running... you know the deal.

6. I want to know WHEN this man, who has repeatedly shown no interest
in anything printed with big words and no pictures, has suddenly taken to pretending that he actually reads? does anybody seriously believe that he does?

14. I've never read it.
It wasn't required in my high school.

We read other things.

I'm not defending pResident Idiot, but it's not required in many schools, you know.

(I still, many years out of high school, read several books at once, for the record, but I've still never read that one)

13. Absurd
I'd like to watch him read one chapter aloud and then give a report on it without a teleprompter, I'd stack any fourth grader against him.
