I see it's an election year and just like it's time to
take the Diebold machines behind closed doors on election night, I guess it's time to talk terrorism.
Like this foiled attack here. Congratulations. Let's talk about that for a minute. Have your experts noticed any similarities Oplan Bojinka, the plan foiled by that fellow in between Poppy and you--I mean George? I presume you've heard of it.
But then again, perhaps I presume too much. Bojinka was a terrorist plot foiled in 1995 by the capture of a planner's laptop in the Philippines. It was plans for the timed detonation of multiple airliners on their way to the United States--but from the Pacific. A big difference, I know.
But it's obvious that you hadn't heard of Bojinka in 2002, because Part 2 of Bojinka was the idea of crashing a plane laden with explosives into CIA headquarters. Maybe you have since stumbled onto the Bojinka plans at
that terrorist haven Wikipedia, which mentions that the World Trade Center was also considered as a target.
We know you didn't know about Bojinka in 2002. Otherwise
Condoleeza Rice would have been lying when she said, "I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon; that they would try to use an airplane as a missile, a hijacked airplane as a missile."
So, Dick. Do you see any similarities between that attack in 1995 and this attack now? Like the fact that America is now exactly as safe from the ravages of terrorism as we were in 1995? That's very creditable: you've made America as safe as it was before you took office.
But there are a few other unanswered questions I have. Like, how's that investigation going into
the people who profited from selling stock short on 9/11? According to Chicago Board Options Exchange spokespeople, the people who sold short on United Airlines and Continental stock in the days before the attacks were already known to the CBOE. So, now that it's nearly five years later, has your expert investigation led to the CBOE, yet? What did they discover, I wonder?
Or how about those four terrorists who supposedly showed up on Republican money launderer
Jack Abramoff's SunCruz casino boat, on September 5, 2001, just about the time that the hijackers began
returning their remaining funds to al Qaeda? The FBI wandered off with Jack's surveillance tapes and said they'd be investigating it. So, five years later, has anyone watched the tapes?
Oh, but excuse me, that last link I gave was to a .pdf file from the 9/11 Commission Report. But maybe that report is not really a reliable source anymore, now that we know that
NORAD lied to the 9/11 Commission. Or wait, maybe they didn't lie. Maybe they
just didn't know what the hell they were talking about. I guess it depends on who reports it.
Well, this sure has been a nice conversation, Dick. It certainly would be nice to hear back from you at your earliest convenience on these matters, since they're very important to the American peoples' understanding of your war on terrorism, Dick. Hope to hear from you soon. Dick.
