A simple question about Iraq. |
|
Were there a hundred people a day dying in Iraq, before we "Liberated" the place?

1. I'll put the question in lingo a GOPer might once have understood |
|
Are Iraqis better off now, than they were four years ago?

2. No, but there were reports about how horrible the UN sanctions were |
|
I cannot find them now, but hopefully others will or can provide links, but there were routine reports from Iraq about how the UN sanctions were leading the civilian deaths through negligence.
I'm sure it didn't amount to 100 a day though.

there are far more people losing their lives every day now. Would we have had 2,600 Americans killed in Iraq under the UN sanctions? Would we have spent 300 billion dollars on Iraq? Does it make you feel better that We and the UK now bear the responsibility for the killing of thousands, instead of the UN or Saddam? Who do you think the Iraqis hate more now, us, or the UN?
MORE Hatred = Future Terrorists, who will focus their hatred on the most evident cause of their suffering.
It seems that the Bush/PNAC is not worried, about creating more risk of terrorist attacks on this country.
