Didn't get to see Meet The Press. How did Russert deal with content of Kean's and Hamilton's new book?

Both Keane and Hamilton expressed a decent degree of dismay that we're still so unprepared 5 years after 9/11.
An interesting little exchange occurred when Hamilton talked about how the commission didn't get the info it needed from Rudy Guiliani's public testimony. Hamilton said the commission felt like it couldn't ask the tough questions in public because they felt they would be insulting the "heroes" (first responders, etc.) -- so they had to ask Rudy those questions in private.
Keane jumped in and said Rudy cooperated in private testimony ... it was the commission's failing that it didn't ask the tough questions in public, Keane said. Sounded like he felt he had to stick up for Rudy. oh brother.
