Waiting for November 7th is like a kid waiting for Christmas...
He wants to get that new red wagon so bad. He just gets antsy thinking about how close Christmas is and everyday his dream gets a little closer. He'll be the envy of the neighborhood. He is so tired of being a "loser". Let us hope when he goes to sleep on Christmas Eve, he does not wake up with a chunk of coal in his stocking. :)

4. Don't underestimate the desperation of the neocons in power, folks
Do so at your own peril. If you think they're going to relinquish the keys to all the power they've worked so hard to accrue over the past thirty years you're more of an optimist than moi. There's just too much at stake and I don't put anything past them at this point. They're not going to let a little thing like the democratic process get in their way.

5. Their stated goal is a "permanent Republican majority"
In other words, they want to turn America into a one-party (Republican) state. They believe they are entitled to power, so they think that any means toward that end is justified, whether it's lying, cheating or stealing.
