Fuck Arnold Schwarzenegger
I saw his new campaign ad today - it took every single page out of the republican playbook that he possibly could.

Boiling elections down to taxes? Check.

Smearing your candidate for appearing to raise more taxes? Check.

Trashing your opponent to make you look better? Checkity check check.

2. But is he distancing himself from the Repug party? No mention
of Bush or the R party at all? That's the hallmark of the new playbook. Who, us??? Republican?

8. Schwarzenegger was put there to destroy the state
period.

His "backing away" from Georgie is just to pull in the moderate Democrats and make them think he is coming around to their way of thinking. Heaven help us if they fall for it and vote him back in office.

9. Actually, it's all thanks to Enron
There's been tons of talk around here that Enron was responsible for the media frenzy that was the recall election because Gray Davis wanted to put a cap on energy prices.

18. I heard Gray Davis wanted to sue Enron to get the 8 billion they ripped...
from California by inventing the power shortage. I'm guessing Arnold never got the money, did he?

20. No, that whole thing was a class-a screw job.
Edited on Sun Aug-13-06 05:30 PM by impeachdubya
With full media complicity, right down to the "liberal" SF Chronicle burying stories about Enron deliberately targeting California and the traders laughing about "Grandma Millie" on page 8. (But ex-SOS Kevin Shelley was a "mean boss" who threw his cell phone once? PAGE ONE!)

Hell, I knew the energy "crisis" was bullshit WHILE IT WAS HAPPENING. I said "Hmm. They can't win in California with their stupid, far right agenda.. so this is what they're gonna do."

21. I loathe the Gropenator with a purple passion ...
or, rather, his being in the Governor's office ...

BUT ... as your picture above points out, at least he dresses much better than the Chimperor!

12. Er...NO, thank you.
I'd rather not, if you don't mind.

I don't really think there's a titanium frame underneath his rotten member.

I hope voters will free my former beautiful golden state from his grip this November.
