33. I think Mike Wallace needs to retire. |
|
Ahmeninijad made an ass out of him. It could have been a good interview with a more skilfull interviewer like Christianne Amanpour, who probably should have done it anyway since she is Iranian, and would be able to pick up on the nuances. Also, he let his biases get in his way and didn't follow up on some things Ahmeninijad said about the holocaust never occurring. I think he should have questioned him more as to where he got those ideas and just how widespread that belief is in the Middle East.

Who could've known that Stephen Colbert would have a major role in taking the RW machine down.

liberal comedians are way funnier than Conservatives. Even decent comedians who switch over to the dark side, ie: Dennis Miller, not funny anymore.

Because Cons usually have no sense of humor....their idea of 'humor' is being vindictive and mean-spirited.
And they can't stand being made fun of, especially with the effectiveness, finesse and nuance satire provides.
Colbert makes it look easy.

15. It did not help O' Reilly, Hannity, and that crowd. Excellent interview. |
|
To me it looked like Safer (or the producer) helped make Hannity, O'Reilly et al look like jerks.

sometimes they update the story at the end of the segment. Both were reruns but not from the same original show

30. It is such a treat to observe wit, charm, intelligence. And his staff |
|
also needs to be commended. I can just imagine the fun and the great jabs and ides that they come up with in their sessions. Eighty some on the staff? I thank all of them.
