Israeli Leaders Fault Bush on War

Amid the political and diplomatic fallout from Israel’s faltering invasion of Lebanon, some Israeli officials are privately blaming President George W. Bush for egging Prime Minister Ehud Olmert into the ill-conceived military adventure against the Hezbollah militia in south Lebanon.

Bush conveyed his strong personal support for the military offensive during a White House meeting with Olmert on May 23, according to sources familiar with the thinking of senior Israeli leaders.

The US knew months before about the attack on Lebanon, and Bush wanted the Israelis to invade Lebanon as a precurser to an all out US airwar on Iran. Let the Israelis do the dirty work and the USAF would learn from them. He will get us in World War III before 2009 rolls around, by god.

6. Two points ...

1) You know ... I knew something was up with the way Bush was acting throughout this ... Too calm, that he knew ahead of time fits his demenor during it ... AND, that they didn't even bother to talk to Israel, a real give on it ...

2) Olmert ... No military background ... The beat continues ... Freaks with no military background pushing the buttons for war ...
