The riff-raff are entirely too mobile in this country. It makes them very very hard to control.

Clearly, the shoes-off "wanding" isn't humiliating enough to keep them home. The nail-clipper ban was a good idea, but people just don't suffer enough, being deprived of these devices for a few hours.

The "no water" directive is VERY good, considering that we can confine them for hours, without any explanation on the planes, on the hot tarmac. This ought to keep the grannies and the sickos out of the air. It's very physically demanding.

Now for the women. I lo-o-ove that the make-up is being confiscated. Also the lotion. By the time these floozies get to their destination they ought to look like they just spent 4 hours at the gym. And their skin will be all scaly without lotion available. This is a good humiliation technique. Can we get "post-flight" photographs as they deplane?. . . You know, for Security reasons.

On the news this morning I saw the ne plus ultra in pre-flight humiliation! This is just so exciting. Make them submit to big, public, lie detector tests!!

We, of course, are exempt from all this folderol. Private planes and "preferred client" status will preserve our dignity and keep us off the stupid lines.

Finally! Flying will once again be the purview of the elite, like it was in the beginning. We will get the great cuisine back, and the stews will once again cater to our every need and desire.

Won't that be nice.

when first class airline food was indeed...First Class. And even now...on overseas runs the first class cabin eats VERY well. Too bad the cuisine on most flights has been reduced to a snack (something like 8 peanuts or two cookies) and a sip of soda or juice...

3. My wife and I take maybe 1 trip a year and

because of my bad back, we take that one trip in first class. The food is actually pretty good, and I have to admit, it is nice getting on and off quickly, being able to have a drink as soon as we are seated, and the warm towels add a nice touch, too.

I flew over on TWA and returned on Northwest Orient, and the food was plentiful and palatable, made more so by the ever-attentive crew of flight attendants (stewards and stewardesses in those days).
