Let's set aside the fact that this PNAC cabal shut down the programs designed to get Bin Laden and allowed the attacks on 9/11/2001 to go forward. Remember all that kindergarten cowboy posturing about "getting him dead or alive?" All that simple-minded strutting and chest-beating that had Chimpy's adoring devotees wetting themselves in spasms of ecstasy?

Well, the basic fact of the tape is that that homicidal fundie zealot is still at large. By invading Iraq Chimpy made OBL look like a prescient superman in the eyes of many, instead of the universally hated mass murderer he had been in the eyes of reasonable people in all parts of this world.

By "taking him on" as an equal, the Idiot Prince has elevated the status of this isolated Fred Phelps/McVeigh-type nutcase to that of an equal to the President of the USA. And by his acts he has turned the US into a symbol of torture, murder, and rapacious brutality not seen in the world since Hitler - morally bankrupt in every way and on the precipice of an economic catastrophe that will make the Great Depression look like a mild case of influenza.

"Miserable Failure?" Sorry to say, those words are far too gentle. Everything they have done has served the enemies of the American people and hurt the common people everywhere on the planet, and fulfilled exactly OBL's predictions and his fondest hopes.

Nearly five years after and the man is still wandering around free and planning new attacks on America after executing deadly attacks on spain and the U.K.

Every time Bin-Laden shows up the Republicans should be hanging their heads in shame over *'s failure and we should be flogging them over it nonstop.

But no . . . the right rubs their hands together viewing it as a public relations opportunity. It just sickens me to think that if 911 had happened under a President Gore there never would have been a "united we stand".

2. OBL - CIA

I think the fact that OBL offered a truce is proof that he works for the CIA. IF * accepts the truce, he can then pull out of Iraq, and say "mission accomplished". He'll look like a hero, and everyone will forget about the current scandals.

Bin Laden was empowered by the CIA "Cold War" strategy that promoted and funded (with Saudi help) religious insanity as a tool against the USSR, he does not have to be on the payroll in order serve the interests of those who would establish establish fascim in the US and who believe that brute force is sufficient and neccessary to extend corporate domination over the rest of the planet.

are we taking for that? Bush's purged CIA, full of toadies and yes-men? Really, I don't trust these people one micro-meter. They are capable of ANYTHING.)

Our public life has become a farce--by design, I'm sure. People laugh as this crap. It is not taken seriously--believe me. But they don't know why their more sensible views don't get listened to--that they have been literally disenfranchised.
