US Army: soldiers must look scary

A relative works for an ergonomic consulting company with several contracts for the Army. Her company was chosen to design flip-up-type goggles which attach to soldiers' helmets.

The initial design was rejected because it didn't look "dominating" and "angry" enough. By the time they got the goggles looking scary enough for DOD several features didn't work correctly.

The goggles went into production that way. :eyes:
