Are Republican voters happy that Republican politicians endorse Lieberman?
I am surprised that national Republicans like Bush and Melman are refusing to endorse the CT Republican candidate, Alan Schlesinger. And it looks like most of the Republican heroes like Hannity are rooting for Lieberman as well. How do Republican voter feel about this? Do they like the fact that their party leaders are endosing a guy who has promised to caucus with the Democrats?

I don't go to freeperville, so I was wondering what the reponse was.

3. I think that this just highlights the fact that there is actually a
third party, here; it's called the Bushist Party. Most Republicans belong to the Bushist party, even if they don't consciously know it, also, many Democrats belong to the Bushists (and they know it). So The Leader can endorse anyone from any, so-called, political party and his thralls fall into line behind him. Lieberman was a Bushist even back in 2000, how else can you explain his performance in the debate with Goering - I mean, Cheney. This just gets scarier as time goes by. I cannot even pretend to predict what is coming down the pike...

5. Yes
I don't know if I'd call it "bushist" party but it is certainly not what has traditionally been known as the Republican Party. The best word for it, I think, is "corporatist" party.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, it must be a duck. When are people going to look beyond the label and put the correct label on these people who occupy the White House?

6. You shoulda seen Mehlman answering that one on Chris Matthews
It was pretty hilarious. He said Conn. told him to fuck right off and stay out of it. Not in those words, of course, but in his GOP-speak. Then he nervously said that he didn't expect Repukes to go vote for Dem centrists. He had a real bad day Sunday.
