6. Maybe not
This little fiasco in Lebanon didn't go so well and the IDF did not perform that well and Olmert has proven that he's almost as stupid as W.

8. That's what the recent shipment of cluster bombs is supposed to correct.
They are going to exterminate everyone who gets in the way of the PNAC cabal.

4. Because it's a civil war.
We have no ability to stop the killing in Iraq. We unloosed something that we can't control, and the Iraqis are paying. And paying, and paying.

10. Yup.
Too many parties to negotiate with. We have NO control over the ground. They'll fight it out amongst themselves

7. Democracy is messy
... apparently. You have to ask the people and do as they request, that is the role of government,
why are you asking us? We don't run iraq, its not our country, we're the left wing remember,
the anti war, always been anti-war, persons with more integrity than that, who fight terrroism
by setting a judicial example in international law (ICC).

But as a brigand is involved, what can be done but parley until the pirate(s) is/are out.

11. It would take Bush adopting Kerry's withdrawal plan, including a summit
of all the regional leaders and the leaders of the insurgency. And I doubt Bush will do that.

12. Apparently, it would take the French.
And in this country, not one single supporter of Dumbyah would allow the French to get involved in this question. That's why we can't have a cease fire in Iraq, because stupid morans have too much political power in this country. Would they give up their seats in Congress for Peace in Iraq? Nope.
