4. Maybe we could sponsor Adopt a Young Republican Soldier |
|
You know, liberals would pay for their body armor, since the gov't still can't seem to get around to it.
We could pledge to make cookies, and send toothbrushes and all
So, go to your local Young College Chickenhawks Republican's meeting. Pick out the one member who shows the most bravado. Then sponsor them - send out press releases to all the local news about how you'll be doing all this "support the troops" stuff for your own little Yellow Elephant once they actually get down to the recruiters office.
He can't make it there? No problem, as his sponsor, you'll drive him. Those evil, liberal professors won't give him the time off? No problem, as his sponsor, you'll be able to talk liberal to liberal with the professor - you'll have that timing issue cleared up in no time.

They are expenditures if they're not deductible. This from a guy who supports the idea of running gov't like a business. The Professor

13. They aren't donations -- truth in advertising dictates |
|
That the "adopt-a-soldier" program should really be called "line Limbaugh's overstuffed pockets" program.
Rush must be on drugs if he thinks any intelligent person is going to fall for this!

15. Your Last Sentence Is Fully Absurd |
|
First, he IS on drugs, not must be.
Secondly, "if the thinks" is wrong. When has he ever actually thought?
And intelligent people never fall for this sort of stuff. So that's redundant.
Sorry to pick your sentence apart. But, i figured you'd enjoy it anyway! The Professor
