Ohio Christian Alliance teeing off

The Ohio Christian Alliance, which broke off from the Christian Coalition last month over concerns that the national organization couldn't manage its finances and had abandoned its conservative ideals, is hosting a golf outing and fund-raiser at the Rosemont Country Club in Fairlawn next Monday at 11:30 a.m.

Although the non-profit organization will not endorse candidates in the fall election, the featured speakers (nudge nudge, wink wink) will be Assistant Secretary of State Monty Lobb -- one of Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Blackwell's top deputies -- and Jerome Corsi, the author of "Rebuilding America," Blackwell's blueprint to succeed Gov. Bob Taft.

Corsi also co-authored "Unfit for Command," the 2004 book about John Kerry's Vietnam service that turned the noun "swift boat" into a verb -- as in, "You've just been swift-boated."

The cost for the Rosemont CC outing and luncheon is $140 -- $40 for the luncheon only. Proceeds of the event will go to "help fund the educational voter materials provided for the general election," according to the invitation from Executive Director Chris Long.

1. "Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor."
Although the original form could be interpreted to be relevent in court and other legal proceedings, later interpretations expanding the meaning to include lying in general...

...but I wouldn't expect fundamentalists to THAT well-educated about the Bible. :eyes:
