Poll: In One Month, Ford Cuts Corker Lead In Half

From Rasmussen Polling:

Tennessee: In the race to replace retiring Senator Bill Frist (R), the Republicans finally selected their nominee following a tough primary battle. In our first poll since the primary, Bob Corker (R) now leads Harold Ford, Jr. (D) 48% to 42%. Data and article coming later. A month ago, Corker was ahead 49% to 37% .

We are going to win this seat!

Lets show the Republicans we can win in the South. Lets makes Harold Ford Jr. our next U.S. Senator

1. Go Harold!
I know polls are meaningless, but it sounds like a good sign.

5. Yes
It is a good sign. We are dead even in the polls, leading in fundraising, and are right on the issues.

I think we are doing pretty doggone good for a Democrat here in TN!

We need everyone's support!

4. That's not bad
If he can cut it that much in one month, think of how much he can cut it in the remaining months.

7. IF
If you just hear the man talk, you will love him. The more folks hear of him and see him personally, the more the more support he will get. He is like Bill Clinton, but a lot smoother in a lot of ways.

10. I saw a clip of him today really giving it to * over OBL unit shut-down
Ford is a fighter when he needs to be, but he's also reasonable (nobody can paint him as "loony-left"). I hope he ends up in Al Gore's old seat in the Senate!

12. Not the biggest Ford fan
but we need that seat dammit!

Plus, he's had his moments like when he got so pissed at what Jean Schmidt was saying about Murtha.
