1. It's very, very hard to say, given zero specifics. Good luck tho! |

4. I really wish the web would straighten this stuff out. |

Recently changed computers and with my fresh Firefox/Linux/mplayer setup got everything working and can play most anything anywhere, after a bit of tweaking with the mms protocol handlers and such.
I expect it to work for about 6 months until the latest web developer fad finds a way to break it :eyes:.

1. Upgrade your software and drivers; (Macromedia Flash Player, Window Media Player, Quicktime, drivers for your video and audio, and so on) 2. Get more memory - cheap, but very effective. A lot of problems are due to lack of memory or faulty memory; 3. Avoid unnecessary software / downloads / silly screensavers, windowwashers and stuff like that; 4. Clean up you PC / MAC regularly (temp directories); 5. Try not to stress your PC/MAC by having to many programs open; 6. Get a fast internet connection and a decent router/modem (if you haven't already); 7. See if your firewall or antivirus software is causing problems by disabling them temporary. (These are well know to cause all sorts of weird problems)
:argh:
