Blackouts scheduled for the next couple of days here
according to WFAA, our local ABC affiliate. Of course they told me it's my fault because I have my thermostat set at 65.

With temperatures hitting 104 degrees Wednesday and an expected 105 degrees tomorrow many North Texans are seeking the cool temperatures indoors.

But while air conditioners pump out the cool air, electricity is being pushed to the limit, which could means blackouts.

Power usage Wednesday came close to setting a record for peak demand. Overactive air conditioners can create a power surge that puts the state's electrical grid on the brink of overload.

Funny how the purveyors of infinite theft of natural resources cant seem to provide enough juice on their home turf ...
