1. Good point
my husband just found out the guy he's been doing construction for is a Kool Aid drinker, and has been arguing with him. We'll see if hubby gets any more work from this guy or not.

3. Wow, I needed to see this today!
Chimpy is coming to K State on Monday, and I've arranged to go to the protest. I'm very nervous, especially since my husband may not be able to go with me. I have a very difficult time expressing my thoughts, and I don't retain facts well so I'm nervous about having anyone confront me and giving me a chance to speak out against *. I know why I hate him and why the rest of Amurka should hate him; but when it comes to explaining it, I get tounge tied easily and forget important facts. Especially when arguing with the typical repuke who tries to change the topic/arguing point with every question.

But I will go, and I will hold my sign, and I will do it proudly knowing that even if my voice is shaky, it will be heard!

and its given me the nerve to put bumper stickers on my car for the first time.

I have one that says "Defend America: Impeach Bush"

7. I have on the wall of my office a print out of
"Stand before the people you fear and speak your mind - even if your voice shakes. When you least expect it, someone may actually listen to what you have to say." ~ Maggie Kuhn

I copied this from a post I saw at DU some time ago. I look at it frequently and know that if I don't speak out too, the cause of peace and justice will be hurt.
