Anyone seen Stone's WTC Movie?
Edited on Thu Aug-17-06 05:10 AM by Philosoraptor
I don't wanna see it, and I've read that it basically continues the official govt. lies and secrets of the neo cons. But I can't judge a movie I haven't or won't see in all fairness.

I just wonder if they covered the mysterious fall of WTC Building Number 7?

1. Nope, and I don't plan on seeing it.
BTW that silly NASCAR spoof movie has beat it out of the #1 spot for the second week in a row. :applause:

I'm sickened by seemingly everyone trying to eek out a movie from this tragedy. The more they hype this out into ANOTHER FLICK, the more they disrespect the victims.

However, if Stone, et. al., are willing to give all proceeds to the Family Members of those who perished in 9-11, I'd go see them all. The forgoing will not ever happen when there's propaganda to be strewn and money to be made.

2. a local audience member stated "reminds me of why we're over there"
so, if nothing else, it does NOT dispel the lie that Iraq was involved in 9/11, if the audience is still coming to the same incorrect conclusion.

I have no desire to see it, myself.

3. I'm not planning on seeing it... read the reviews, and it's hard to
believe this is the same guy who make 'Nixon' and 'JFK'.

4. I refuse to watch it
It really reeks of explotation.

Funny how all the 'heros' are white and the real 9-11 hero that they based one of the characters on turned out to be black. Oops.

5. It should show how incompetent that POS prezinut....
and his pathetic staff is, but I'm sure the flick doesn't touch on that subject.

I'll pass.

6. There are apparently some hints in the movie
I haven't seen it yet, but I read a very interesting review. Sorry don't have the link. But the reviewer wrote that there are scenes that are inconsistently with the official conspiracy theory.

If I remember correctly the reviewer wrote that there are scenes in which there are strange "secondary explosions." Also the reviewer said there is a scene in which the heroes are menaced by inexplicable molten metal. Lastly, there is apparently a scene in which police in a headquarters type setting are shocked by the collapse of WTC 7.

The reviewer inferred from the film that Stone does not believe the official story, left certain hints, but did not want to make a movie explicitly about the alternative theories.

For those who saw the movie, did you also see these clues?

7. i saw it and
don't look for any kind of character development. i didn't feel much for any of the characters the way they were portrayed. i'm not sure what effect oliver stone was going for. i wouldn't waste my $ if i were you.
