John Karr's Resume (Jon Benet Ramsey suspect)
Here's the resume of John Karr. The link was posted over at FR last night and a short while ago by DU'er QuettaKid. It contradicts a lot of what has been said so far about where he was after he skipped bail in '01.

The guy claims experience working with children in Europe. I don't even want to think about that.

1. His resume seems to show he liked tutoring little girls...
another Heterosexual child molester.

2. As soon as I read that he was in Thailand
a shiver ran up my spine. I pretty much knew why he was there.

Sick.

3. think of how many other men visit Thailand every year for sex with kids
it is just evil, gross and disgusting....

In fact...one of the creepiest people at the company I work for was on business in Asia for our company but made detours to a lot of places for "vacation"...

6. Eeek- I've never thought of this. I don't guess there would be any way to
prove it.

7. Neil Bush...

... had "free hookers" sent to his hotel room door during his last publicized visit to Thailand. Anyone else recall that?

11. He gave his wife Syphillus
That was part of the divorce hearing.

Yes, at least, two women showed up at his door while he was on a business trip in Hong Kong. He claimed that he didn't know that they were hookers, he was never forced to explain about not ... well about not having sex with someone other than the woman he was married to.

9. Nice of the media to cancel the war today. Seems Jon Benet is all the news
It's the top story on every t.v station and for most, the second and third story as well "In depth coverage". Guess they stopped the killing in Iraq and Israel and Lebanon have already healed and made peace with Hezbolah. Even Castro has been moved to the rear of the news cycle.

Until people start yelling about the hijacking of our news, we will keep being fed this pablum. Sorry about Jon Benet- really I am. It's a horrible story - truly it is. But -- and I mean this with no disrespect to the Benet family's loss -- who the fuck cares? How many other children here in the US and around the world are abducted, murdered, etc. How many young girls and women are raped every day in the world? Where are those stories? Why isn't our embassy helping there too?

10. but on the bright side, it got the liquid-bomber feargasm off the TV.
The media is going to just suck, and continue to suck worse, and I don't think either party has the will to make the reforms necessary -- bust up the monopolies, fairness doctrine, etc.. I'm surprised that people even seem to pay any attention to TV anymore, other than C-Span and the occasional PBS documentary and News Hour, it's pretty worthless, for the most part.

12. But the Karr story showed up just in time to submerge the story
about having to let the bomb-plot suspect go.

And no, I don't for a moment imagine a sinister connection, despite my generally paranoid view of the Corporate Media.

16. If it hadn't been Karr, it would have been something else
The attention span on the news can't be accurately measured with the chronometers we currently have, which can only cut a second into about a trillion or so segments. Karr is a convenient "out" for the bogus ph34r engendered by the London "plot," but it could just as easily have been the guy blowing up 55,000 pounds of fireworks all at once, or some kid who collects coins in Portland, or a heat wave, or a cold snap, or Britney getting a hangnail or anything else calculated to distract folks with pretty pictures.

13. "Profiler" this morning on CNN
Said that, undoubtably, there must have been other murders by this animal....that he must be a serial child killer. Shudder.

14. from another board. theory.
"Psst...Dude, go to Thailand. My wife just died, and that means BIG BUCKS IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY if WE FIND A KILLER! I'll give you $2.5 million! I'll even forgive you during sentencing so you only get 25 years! That's $100,000 per year! Thanks, John."

15. I'm sure the pageant stuff made JonBenet even more enticing
to this creep.

On another note, to believe the media, all killers have three names: Lee Harvey Oswald, John Wayne Gacy, Mark David Chapman, and now John Mark Karr. Apparently, they just copy the entire name off the police report and the name sticks.
