5. Actually, Faux presents more news than CNN. When I need to find
out what's going on, I turn to FOX and just filter everything. Contact CNN, let them know what a sh__ you think their coverage is!!

11. Actually, Fox covers more news. When I want news, I turn to Fox and
run it through my bullshit filters. Make sure you tell them THAT!

3. yup i've hated CNN since the olympic bombing thing
staring at that video for days pushed me over the edge a long time ago. but when they started copying the Faux news format the rotting carcas of CNN really started to stink.

Sadly I still have to suffer them on the TVs scattered around my work place. There's a constant stream of bullshit news shows on there. I only thank my stars that our cable provider doesn't give us FauxNews.

4. Dead White Girl! Dead White Girl! Dead White Girl!
Let's show a sense of proportion here. What could be more important than the 10-year-old murder of a DEAD WHITE GIRL?

7. Great minds think alike
Edited on Thu Aug-17-06 01:40 PM by me b zola
I e-mailed them about 20 minutes ago. I told them that I used to keep the tv on cnn throughout the day, but when they began their 24 hrs/day coverage of "terror" I turned them off, only occasionally turning them on to see if they were done terrorizing US.

I went on to give them a piece of my mind about the 24 hrs/day coverage of a ten year old murder case, barely finding the time to squeeze in 3 minutes for the federal court ruling regarding the NSA domestic spy program.

I concluded by telling them to e-mail me when they decided to return to reporting the news, until then I'm not watching cnn any longer.

on edit, my conclusion began by telling them that they had become a joke.

8. But If They Suddenly Started To Report NSA All-The-Time...
... wouldn't they get an equally visceral reaction from the folks who are actually INTERESTED in the recent developments in the JonBenet mystery?

I guess they have a very difficult job trying to please all the people all the time.

9. If those people can get cnn, then I bet they could get court tv
Sorry, the NSA is just one of the news stories that we should be seeing on a 24 hrs news station. Have you heard that people are dying in Iraq? How about the mess that the Gulf states are still since KatrinaBush hit?

They've made a joke of themselves and they deserve to hear why I have turned them off.

10. CNN is no longer a new channel.
When I e-mailed them, I told them I was voting against their tabloid coverage with my remote control. They have been officially turned-off at my home.

12. MSNBC was no better earlier today
I had to turn it off.
They made this sound like a *done* deal yesterday, but there are so many discrepancies...why couldn't they have mentioned it and then gone on with the SO many more important issues in this country.
