Why do you post on blogs and discussion boards?

Do you hope to persuade others to your point of view? Or do you just hope to learn something from all the different types of people that post on them? Do you hope to make a difference in the next election? Do you try to recruit activists to write or march for a cause? Or is just fun to meet and talk with like-minded people? Or is it all of the above? Do you tend to give the Democratic Party political advice? Do you think they listen?
