1. Isn't he
the law professor who was calling for Clinton's impeachment?

4. Is that the only thing you can say/ask? You just asked me the same thing.
WTF does that have to do with impeaching the IDIOT?....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. At least the man is consistent.

6. I think that's his point, in_cog. Turley's credible because he's...
...consistent.

:hi: How you doing?

7. Hey, CW! I'm good!
How are you? I haven't seen you for a while.:hi:

I don't know if his question is because he thinks it gives Turley more credibility/consistency or because "WE" (general) didn't believe Clinton should have been impeached for such an idiotic reason.....SO, that is SUPPOSE TO make Turley look bad in our eyes. That's how I took it. PLUS, it's a brand spankin' new member.;) I could be wrong.:)

"Committed a crime." You just can't make it any more clear than that. Congress is complicit in criminality if they don't do something about this situation. It's called aiding and abetting at this point. Whether my terminology is correct or not, that is how it stands in my mind. Either Congress is with Americans and the Constitution by which this country was founded, or they are against.

As Turley noted, in words far more eloquent than mine, no amount of rationalization for bush's actions can obscure the glaring fact that bush committed a crime. We all agree that even if a man steals a loaf of bread for his starving family, he is still a thief. He can explain his actions, he can face a jury of his peers who may decide guilty or not guilty, but it does not change the fact that stealing a loaf of bread is a crime.

Edit: Thanks, liveoaktx. This video is a treasure.

11. For a button downed Mr. Spock like guy, Turley
was practically coming out of his chair with the obvious. The president is flaunting his disregard of the rule of law, the constitution and it is clearly an impeachable offense and he said, at the very least MUST be investigated by congress. Must see TV.

await us all. Justices Roberts and Alito both worked in the Reagan WH offering their justifications for such 'suspensions of the Constitution'. Lovely crew running the ship of state (right into the rocks).

BTW, wasn't Turley the attny for the Area 51 employee who's health was wrecked by pollution out there in NV ? (Lost the case and Clinton sided with the polluters, DOD).

12. I saw this on C Span earlier
It was good!!

One of the arguments that was made (against Bush's justification that he has unkimited power) is that Bush doesn't have the authority to declare that.
