See mine? That's my beagle, Buddy. I snapped a picture of him with my digital camera, erased the background and his neck, then shrank it. Not too much to it, if you already understand computer graphics to some extent.

They work best when you submit them as 48x48 pixels, or else DU resizes them which can cause jaggies or distortion.

If any of you have a picture you want a hand with making a custom avatar for yourself, just point me to it and I'll turn it into one for you if you want. You can post em in the thread, or PM me.

Don't expect an instant reply, but I'll try and help as many as I can. Maybe some other DUers will help out too. I know I'm not the only one with some graphics skills around here.
