I'm SO Jealous! They NEVER let Clinton Openly break the Law. |
|
I'm telling mom, this president gets to do anything he wants and get away with it! No Fair! I'm jealous, bush can openly defy the constitution and tell us to all fuck off and suck it, but Bill couldn't even be discreet about something they all do without all holy hell breaking loose. They rode his ass mercilessly and they wouldn't let him get away with ANYTHING.
Now look at that little brat george, standing up and defying and openly ignoring and pissing on the rule of law, which they so loudly touted and defended a few short years ago. I'm jealous and envious, because I too have to live by the rule of law or my sorry ass goes to prison over the slightest little joint, I mean, indiscretion.
The president gets to boldly and arrogantly subvert and fuck with the laws of the land while I have to live in constant fear of them.
NO FAIR!

1. Clinton lied about a private sex act and that is totally unacceptable.. |
|
They had no choice but to impeach him. The Grand Dictator-in-Chief is merely trampling our constitutional rights. See the difference?

13. I'm still wondering IF he in fact lied about sex |
|
I remember Big Dog's testimony, and throughout, IIRC, he prefaced his answers with "by the definition" or "as the law states," or "as you've phrased that question," etc. Sure, it's waffling, it's that whole legalese thing that makes us all hate lawyers, etc (though, I still think "The Lawyer's Guide to Mother Goose" was one of the most hilarious books ever published); but did Clinton actually/technically/ipso facto perjure himself?

6. You don't think Tricky Dick will congradulate W in Hell? |
|
I'd think that he'd be proud of dubya for finally subverting the law openly and still being in the white house, during a war.

Wouldn't you rather live in a dictatorship than give the terrorists a chance to take over? I mean, come on! Dictatorships are so safe! As long as you keep your mouth shut and your head down and do exactly as you're told, and don't mind that at any moment an old enemy can turn you in to the authorities just for shits and giggles, you can live a long and happy life!
I trust the sarcasm tag won't be necessary. :)

11. Didn't they make a big fuss about the Parma Pierogi incident |
|
where he stopped in at a relatively new restaurant in Parma Ohio, and the owner gave him some pierogies ('96, I believe) ... I'm sure that the Republican Party made him declare the dozen pierogies on his "campaign contributions" list ...

They spent 8+ years manufacturing evidence of sexual harassment and none of it stuck, but then Bush is caught on video sexually harassing the Chancellor of Germany and there's nary a word from them.
