What are the laws in Texas regarding signs are your own property (size, height)? How close is she to Bush's house. I think she should put up a 100' foot x 200' foot blinking neon sign on her property. Or maybe a massive spotlight that shines directly toward Bush's house. Or a blimp, or....

17. So what? The point isn't to actually FIND oil... |
|
the point is to destroy the natural splendor of Crawford and to pollute Bush's ranch.

This is an incredible opportunity for Cindy living soooo close to the madman she can now legally drive him nuts! We should brainstorm ideas on how she can do that. I know they probably already have thought of some but a million great minds, ya know? I was just trying to get some ideas started

7. Make sure to have a security camera (far enough away and |
|
camouflaged) ...
this sign is likely to be defaced, vandalized, and/or stolen ...

That will not be a problem.
Which reminds me - anyone coming, be sure to stop at the entrance and let them know you are here. They will give you a sticker for your windshield.

I've lived in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, spent an extended period of time in Louisiana, have travelled in New Mexico and have close friends who have lived in Mexico for years.
There are lots of beautiful places in Arkansas - and once you have left the excesses of the northwest corner of the state many of the people are quite friendly and progressive. There are similiar places in the hill country of Texas west of Austin. Of course, it gets hotter than Billy Blazes there.
There are worse places than Texas. Because of its corrupt government Mexico has to be the worst of this lot. Because of the prevalence of conservative fundie religious kooks Oklahoma has to be a close second. As a resident I think I am entitled to say that leaving Oklahoma would be beautiful. And the immigrant population demonstrates the beauty of leaving Mexico.
Louisiana has character. New Mexico really can be enchanting. Hard to say either are better or worse than Texas.
The rural mountain areas of north Arkansas are one of my favorite places. Too bad I can't figure out how to earn a living there.

Change "Home of George W. Bush" to "George W. Bush, a monster and traitor, pretends to be from here but is really from some snooty enclave in another state."
