1. Many of the questions Tweety has been dodging for years.
Its a must-see on the rerun.

--

Don't get your hopes up too much though, Tweety will be on his knees for Bush again soon.

4. The First General is wonderful!
He's being straight up, telling it like it happened. Said the plan was PNAC (didn't call it that, but described the reason for going into Iraq). Named names in the Pentagon. Said it was a mistake and ticked off all the reasons. Very good interview. All of this, BTW was said years ago by Wes Clark. This is nothing new, but am very glad to hear these generals coming out and saying it.

In fact, if you think back to a Meet the Press a year or so ago, Tim had his War Council around the table. It was Gen. Clark, Montgomery Miegs, Gen. Downing, and I forget the 4th. In the end, Timmy went around the table and asked each to tell him what Iraq a year from then would be like. Each man, up to Clark, said security, Iraqi Army functioning, peace and love. Clark was last and disagreed with all. His prediction is just like we have right now. I'd like to ask Timmy to invite him back. :patriot:

9. Watch a flock of geese change course sometime. They all follow.
Most media stars have some pretty pathetic "acceptance" needs. Matthews's case is particularly obvious, what with all his groveling at the administration. But he's not a wingnut--he's a stooge. When the boat gets wet, the rats all start running. Really not worth paying much attention to.

18. He's back on his meds?

It's hard to figure him. There are times when he clearly is pimping for the powers that be, and recently he seems, at times, to be thinking and speaking for himself.

8. What? Matthews jumping on an obvious bandwagon & echoing others?
I can't believe it! Is he really just spouting along thoughtlessly with the conventional wisdom? How unexpected.

12.  Tweety is doing more good, with an hour of ranting and
raving, than we can do, collectively, in a week. I am astonished and inordiately pleased. This is wonderful!

Go Tweeety!!

20. You hit the nail on the head
Welcome to DU by the way :hi:

Tweety can only play hardball by speaking negatively about people when they're not there but when he's talking to them, suddenly he's kissing their butt. He's a "mean girl".
