Lieberman: "an accounting of the impact of his actions on our democracy"
But Jospeh Lieberman was talking about Clinton, not Bush, in the 1998 speech:

1. Joe you make me chuckle
Your own words:

You were disappointed that the president (Clinton) willfully decieved the nation about his conduct (consensual sexual activity with someone other than his wife.)

And now you are fellating the man who has deceived the nation to the tune of 2,600 dead and 20,000 wounded and the numbers rise everyday and yet their is no disappointment joe? You are scum. Or to really slam you, you are a republican!

Thanks Eric for posting this.

Still with the Rule of law schtick! Unfortunately, it's all about Clinton, they still can't wrap their numbskull's around the fact that their beloved W is a hundred, nay, a thousand times worse. They bring an entire new meaning to the term hypocritical...

Man, it makes me so mad I can't even get profane and when that happens to an old Chief, well-it's just scary!

4. Morning Shipmate
Actually I was doing something important like getting some late summer Vinca's to color up the patio for another month or two (and whatever other taskers the war department has assigned for the day.) She's gone to get her hair "done" so I got a few minutes of peace.

I got a big ole khaki rule of law hanging they can munch on.

6. to the tune of 2,600 dead and 20,000 wounded
I think the Iraqi people might possibly fault your numbers here. Perhaps you should specify that you only refer to American lives and the rest don't count.

7. You are right
I was referring to American Dead only and wounded only. Isn't it great that bush has us growling at each other. I served 24 years for the sake of peace for all. I've seen on the battlefield what counts. thanks for the vivid reminder.

8. I'm sorry for being so snarky
I just do get upset when people leave out the other innocent lives lost in this fiasco. I know your sentiments as I have read you often and apologize for my rudeness.

9. War is Hell
and doesn't it suck that those who oppose it are the only one's who anguish over its consequences? There is not one member of my red county community who cares about our kids dying or Iraqi Civilians dying as a result of a bunch of numbskull politicians with no skin in the game. We are on the same side Toots, Peace to you, and to us all.

10. You always see a person as they really are when they feel their backs
are against the wall. I feel for all the people who he duped for all these years. Hopefully they either did or will wake up. My senators tells me right to my face that they are ideologues with an agenda. I guess I could say they don't put on airs.

11. I must say Madokie
Your two Senators are idiots but they make no such attempt to hide that fact. My two are mr high profile - Hathead Lott who loves the spotlight and mr invisible, thad cochran (anybody seen him lately?)

Pretty pathetic when rove thinks he needs to get a "democrat" (re)elected to maintain a majority in the senate. lieberman must be as proud of his work as a bourbon street hooker.

5. Liebersnake aided the enemy in the sabatoge of Gore in 2000
Liebersnake DID NOT want Albert Gore, Jr. to become president. Anyone who doesn't believe it should review his performance in the debate with Cheney.
