Lieberman still hasn't announced on Alito - keep the pressure on!
Edited on Fri Jan-20-06 02:45 PM by fujiyama
Nelson is the only Dem to come out in support of Alito. Lieberman may be an ass and God knows I don't like him, but the blogger the other post has linked to is filled with bullshit. He links to an article where Lieberman is apologizing for Bush over the war. He claims the op ed title is "Why Alito must be confirmed". The actual article in the WSJ is entitled "Our Troops Must Stay" and was written in November of '05. This doesn't make Lieberman better, but I don't want disinfo and bs to spread. The op ed from November does not mention Alito.

So Lieberman may or may not sign on with a filibuster, and he's a Bush ass kisser, but he has NOT announced support for Alito. Let's keep things honest.

1. Keep the pressure on all that has not stated which
way they are going on Alito. I called Stabenaw, Byrd, Ben Nelson, Feingold. I have been calling for the last week or so. Each day I call a few of them. Each day my pressure gets a little more intense. Stabenaw, I was on the phone with for a good 15 minutes. heheheh

6. No he didn't
Read the article it's linked to. It's entitled "Our troops must stay". I'm not defending Liebrman's support for the war, but I dislike disinfo and bullshit.
