1. Yes. And that's exactly why. He'll never run for anything. nt

2. Why run for office when you can manipulate whoever is in office?
Why limit yourself to only eight years as president, when you could conceivably control the presidency indefinitely? Rove is the ultimate man behind the curtain.

3. Because he's weird and creepy
and couldn't get himself elected dogcatcher -- and he's got way more power as a puppetmaster.

5. Chickenhawk who used his college deferrments
to evade service, then never graduated from college would be a start.
That might not play well. Then again, with republicans, who knows?

10. Major politicians are merely the smiling faces . . .
Edited on Sat Aug-19-06 11:43 PM by HughBeaumont
that mask the men behind the curtains, and that would be Rove/Cheney/Weyrich/Rummy. Running for public office requires much of your personal life to be exposed, and men like the Four Hangmen of the Apocalypse prefer to keep out of the public eye. There's far more power in being a spidery spook. Bush 41 taught them that in more ways than one.

Plus he's a fat balding pile of black pigshit who looks like he should be rolling around in a waller and also probably smells like Brut and grandpa breath.

11. From his history,
seems he was more interested in winning elections than actually doing the job that came with it. That may be why Rove cares more about photo ops than... you know actually doing something good for this country.
