This Land is Their Land : How Corporate Farms Threaten the World
Evaggelos Vallianatos
Evaggelos Vallianatos talks about the political and ecological effects of agribusiness, the subject of his latest book, "This Land is Their Land." Mr. Evaggelos argues that agribusiness has caused the depopulation of rural America and, through it's use of pesticides and other chemicals, is poisoning the health of consumers. He also talks about his background as an employee of the Environmental Protection Agency and his research in South America and Africa. The talk was hosted by Borders Books & Music in Springfield, Virginia.
Evaggelos Vallianatos, a former analyst with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is the author of "Fear in the Countryside" and "Harvest of Devastation."
