My SO: Rumsfeld outed that guy on purpose! |
|
CNN was running a story about the Army Iraq vet who served in Abu Ghraib and informed the chain of command about the torture going on there. He got death threats in letters and the military had to move him and his family and place them in military protective custody (I bet that was fun. :sarcasm: )
Later, in 2004 when Rumsferatu is testifying about AbuGhraib, he says something like this: ...And there are also many fine and honorable soldiers that have served there, including XXX XXX, who reported the incidents of torture up the chain of command..." Rummy didn't have to mention him by name, but I was surprised he didn't also divulge the man's address while he was at it.

America has become a sad, corrupt, inept, warped nation.
Bush* has destroyed the country I've known all my life.

Rummy knew exactly what he was doing. There was absolutely NO cause to mention the guy by name; any fool would have avoided it, particularly knowing he was still at Abu Ghraib with the bad eggs.
