Silent Republicans are unpatriotic chickenshits. |
|
Most of them see what is happening to our country. Even as they sit back and draw their monthly Social Security checks, they say nothing about Bush's plan for "privatization". You can count on one hand the number of Republicans that have criticized this Administration. Yet, they see what damage has been done. But they sit there in silence, hoping the Democrats will save them from further embarrassment. They are not patriots. Otherwise, they would stand up and speak out.

1. If I hear ONE more time ... |
|
about how "but, the democrats voted for the Iraq war" ... I will rip someone's head off ...
Outside of the fact that more democrats voted against the resolution than voted for it, you can count on two hand the number of republican congressmen who voted against it ... WHY is it an issue that there were Ds who voted for it, but it is not an issue that the ENTIRE republican caucus on boths sides of the hill totally backed it ...

3. I agree with you Kentuck. The only problem is that the time has clearly |
|
passed for them to honestly speak out against Dubya. Everytime I hear another Puke seem to come to their senses, I always think, where the hell have you been for the past 5-6 years?? Then I start to understand that their "speaking" out is just political bull puckey.
I don't want the general public to start thinking that these animals have finally awoken and realize that they are only speaking out because it is politically expedient and it becomes less and less dangerous to attack a lame duck President as his last term draws to a close. We have to keep reminding the public that their (politician, pundits, MSM, Republican voters) silence in the past and their votes is what allowed these criminal actions to happen in the first place. This White House couldn't have done any of this without their direct involvement and support.
If we allow them to forget and drive these people out of politics and the establishment overall, they are just going to resurface over and over. Look at how many of these people in the current administration are directly involved in Iran-Contra and how many were involved in Watergate? Honestly, did you ever imagine that some of these people would be so prominent in the political scene today? Oliver North, G.Gordon Liddy, Negroponte, etc, etc, etc. Why aren't these folks ridiculed and seen for the crooks they are? It's because we let people forget.

4. I think that when I see Chuck Hagel... |
|
He seems like the ace in the hole for the Republicans to me. If the neocon agenda is completely disgraced and obliterated, then Hagel can say he was trying to steer his Party in the right direction. And he will be there to pick up the pieces. And the Repubs live to fight another day...

5. Exactly, as he staffs up with all of the dirtbags that run this current |
|
mis-adminstration. Negroponte as Sec of State, Rummy at CIA? You get the idea. He'd be just another figurehead to assuage our anger at Dubya and give the pigs another 8 years to feed at the trough of the US. It's their plan to heap all the misdeeds they did onto Dubya because he'll be back at Crawford soon enough. God help us all if we don't remember how bad Dubya and PNAC are and what they've done to our once great country.

Republicans are in charge of every branch of Government. They are choosing Party over Nation/Bush over Americans by staying silent and letting this criminal administration go unchecked as they are.
EVERYbody knows what's going on and THEY-the Republicans who hold ALL the power to do ANYthing about it- are doing NOTHING.
Senate and House Republicans are a Disgrace to this Nation.Traitorous monsters who are aiding and abetting this criminal man and his cronies.
