also knew of Rusty because of my Grandmother..in the '20s or 30s Granny was the lead saxaphone player in Phillip Spotonni's All-Girl Orchestra and she could play any instrument. She used to "embarrass" my parents by taking us out to dinner to only places that had a piano bar. Once there, she would give the piano player $5 and tell him to go take a hike and she would do Rusty Warren routines and have the whole place in stitches. God she was good!
