Good Lord -- cronies can't even get postage stamps right.
Anyone seen the new "navaho jewelry" 2 cent postage stamp? It's the only one the post office had in stock when I went. The honkin' thing is huge -- bigger than a normal postage stamp. What kind of mouth breather fails to realize that a stamp that's being used as a supplement to a 37c stamp should be small?

I know this seems trivial, but sometimes it's the little things that just get right up under your skin. Over the past years I've been noticing our money turned into a fruit salad, and now they're chopping the pony tail off the nickel (because we all know pony tails are for hippies, right?)

...and then this. Is there anything about this country they aren't dead set to ruin?

:argh:

1. I don't think they should get their increase until we get the new
stamps. Why can't they have them ready ontime?

2. the one cent stamps are normal size
If you use postcards, as I do in my business, it made more sense to get them than the two centers, because postcard rates only went up a penny. I bet you could put two one centers beside your 37 cent stamp and save room.

Just like it's the small stuff that can get under your skin, it's the small stuff that can make you appreciate DU so much! :hi:

4. I think its always been that way.
Haven't US military uniforms the flag backwards to represent the flag being carried into battle?
