Bin Laden 'Truce' Offer Reveals Terror Network in Tatters
Osama bin Laden's taped message is the strangest evidence to emerge that the U.S. is winning the "information war" with al Qaeda and is new proof that al Qaeda's famed media unit is in tatters, says Rich Miniter, author of Disinformation: 22 Media Myths That Undermine the War on Terror.

If we have another terror attack, this guy is going to feel real stupid. A lot of people are going to feel stupid if there's another terror attack. I am convinced it's inevitable.

2. LOL: Worst reading yet
Right. The truce offer is a rhetorical tactic to make Osama look magnanimous, and is probably typical in Islamic political rhetoric. The writer is a dumbass, oure and simple.

9. Consider The Source: Human Events
Consider the source: Human Events is or at least was, the house organ of the (so-called) American Conservative Union.

3. Good
Now that Al Queda is in tatters, Bush can now give up his "emergency powers," indefinite detentions, torturing, Gitmo, illegal wiretapping, pre-emptive unprovoked invasions/military conflicts, Patriot Act 1 & 2, etc. Right? Right?????

5. Bush and Cheney are going to feel stupid as they would have failed to
prevent it. People vote for Bush because they think he keeps us safe. So if there is one - people will begin to catch on (like the Spanish did).

7. A threat, is it not? "You better agree or we will get you --
-- especially if you are ever wrong, and we 'let our guard down.'"

What utter and total fucking bullshit. Whether you choose the lies matters not regarding "terror" attacks.

8. Box-cutters To Be Allowed On Passenger Jets Again?
If the scattered remaining professionals among the Bushbots in the CIA and the Defense Department intelligence agencies thought that the US was winning the war on terror, no doubt the Bushbots would be campaigning for TSA to again allow passengers to bring their box cutters and pocket knives aboard passenger aircraft and the NRA would be beating the drums for anyone to carry loaded pistols and bowie knives aboard commercial jets' passenger compartments.
