Rove: GOP to Use Terror As Campaign Issue
No! Ya Think?!
Maybe because THAT'S ALL THEY HAVE!

WASHINGTON - Embattled White House adviser Karl Rove vowed Friday to make the war on terrorism a central campaign issue in November.

He also said Democratic senators looked "mean-spirited and small-minded" in questioning Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito.

"Republicans have a post-9/11 view of the world. And Democrats have a pre-9/11 view of the world," Rove told Republican activists. "That doesn't make them unpatriotic, not at all. But it does make them wrong — deeply and profoundly and consistently wrong."

Dems.

Republicans look mean-spirited and small-minded by saying that Democrats don't have a post-911 mindset but want to see the law upheld, particularly by the President.

Ya gotta love this part:

Rove, making a rare public address while under investigation in the CIA leak case, joined Republican Party chairman Ken Mehlman in warning GOP leaders against falling prey to the corrupting nature of power.

"Democrats have a pre-9/11 view of the world ..."

That's because they remember a robust economy, respect for the US around the world, peace, social programs to assist the poor, separation of church and state, citizens' rights to privacy, transparency of government, fair tax laws, good jobs that paid fair wages, laws that don't enrich corporations at the expense of the citizenry ...

... you know, all of that stuff you Neo-Cons used 9/11 as an excuse to destroy!

has been laying low for several months. Now he comes out swinging the day after his manufactured OBL tape is aired and thinks all if forgotten. I suppose they taped enough of Fitzgerald's conversations to feel confident enough they can wiggle out of the treason charges.

All I have to say is, we know who you are and we know what you did Rove. It has not fallen into the memory hole. So go back into your hole.

19. I am proudly pre-9/11
Ask yourself:

Did the peace march before the Iraq war change the world?
Did the lawful indictment of criminals in the last few years change the world?
Did the 9/11 terrorist attacks change the world?

If, like a republican, you answered "no, no, yes" then what is the proper method to follow if YOU want to change the world?
a) peaceful protest.
b) the rule of law.
c) terrorism.

The only answer can be C, which is intolerable. 9/11 did not change the world. It was tragic and 3,000 people died. but 47,000 people died before their time in car crashes the same year. If we say that only those 3,000 mattered, than we are giving the terrorists more power than they could dream of. I say think about it.

20. Um, we have a "post-Bush FAILURE" view of the world, KKKarl.
Projection as usual, from that filthy little shit. The bush administration has been "deeply and profoundly and consistently wrong" on just about everything that's come before it.

So, naturally, KKKarl is out there projecting his own shortcomings onto us.

Will the public buy it? Will the Democrats come up with an effective way to counter it?

Stay tuned for details -- unless, of course, grotesque political manipulation of genuine national security issues preempts regular programming.

Again.

Why did Bush let bin Laden walk away?

This is soooooooooooo easy.

Instead of playing the ME TOO - I AM STRONG, TOO

Call them out....

The GOP is weak. They are making America weak. They have bankrupted our treasury. They have had cronies taken over in crucial government positions (remember, Katrina)...

They like to say they are 'STRONG' on terror. They are WEAK on terror. They haven't protected our ports. They haven't protected our borders. They diverted our money and military in a endless quaqmire in Iraq.

All they have is fear. But, what you should be afraid of is the GOP incompetence that is making us ALL weaker....

When people paid less than 2 dollars a gallon for gas.

It's just stupifying that so many don't get it.

I'm starting to think it may take a whole new generation that will have to live through the effects of this regime before America gets it.

Just that fact that they'd put him out there again, campaigning as if nothing is wrong, felt like a slap in the face. And man, I'm tired of them bitch-slapping me.

36. "The Revelation of the Method" - Psychological Warfare tactic
As Michael A. Hoffman writes in his fantastic book "Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare", part of the process of mass mind control and psychological warfare is to actually REVEAL what is happening. Hoffman writes:

"The occult Cryptocracy processes the Group Mind of the masses mainly through psychodrama. The alchemical and Rosicrucian command dogmas were literary works. In the course of receiving the establishment's reports and accounts of (the news), a mental virus is implanted in many percipients. The hypodermic needle in this case is nothing more startling than a campfire story, only the campfire is the crackling electrical current of a television and the story is of our extinction..."

"Independent researchers have seldom noted the significance of these revelations coming from occult groups and even advertising agencies which, in a demonstration of macabre nose-thumbing at our complete indifference to our mental enslavement, have actually pointed to the subliminals in their own liquor ads. These actions signal our entrance into an entirely different era of alchemical Process. As I wrote in Apocalypse Culture (first edition, Amok Press):

'...in the brilliant word-play of the (mythical) Masonic (figure) Dr. Syntax we come to the current unfoldment in "Must Be," an alchemical (cant language code) term Mr. (James Shelby) Downard translates as "the Revelation of the Method." This alludes to the process wherein murderous deeds and hair-raising conspiracies involving wars, revolutions, decapitations, secret archaeo-astronomic deity cult-worship, and every manner of horror show are first buried beneath a cloak of secrecy...and then, when finally accomplished and secured, slowly revealed to the unsuspecting populace who watch...deep-frozen...as the hidden history is unveiled...In the circulation of...(antiAcademy) manuscripts...the revelation of the method is accomplished. Truth or consequences...Downard ... is acutely aware that in exposing the conspirators he is probably serving the final dictum (in their alchemical formula)...'"

"If the truth of what the cryptocracy has perpetrated is grasped and acted upon, the consequences for the conspirators will be annihilation. But if the people fail to perceive the truth or fail to act on their perception, thus rendering unto the Process a kind of tacit consent born of apathy, amnesia and abulia, the consequence for the conspirators will be a giant-step in the advancement of their system of control, that is to say, ever tighter bonds of enslavement for humanity."

"Why does the cryptocracy bother to gamble so much by going public with what it is doing to us? Because consent fuels their control like no other form of energy."

- from Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare.

It could backfire big time in the repubs faces. Osama is still on the loose making tapes threatening more attacks 4 years after 9/11, Iraq is a mess, the DHS is an expensive joke that couldn't manage to adequately respond to a hurricane never mind a terror attack and we haven't heard the last about the Plame case. Also, Rove lecturing people about ethics and national security is a gift that will keep on giving.

43. How will we know when the "War on Terra" is won?
I really want somebody to ask that question in public. Will the "war" be won when we all feel safer?

Is it a GOP definition of "safer" that we all are supposed to live houses wrapped in duct tape and plastic?

Are we "safer" if we have some bogus color wheel to tell us when to panic?

Are we more "secure" if we have a government that feels it is appropriate to eavesdrop on its citizens and hold them indefinitely without trial or access to counsel?

Can you call it "security" to know that your own nation can deport you if someone determines you are a "threat"?

Are we free from "terra" when our own government uses forged documents to try and gain world acceptance (not approval, mind you) for the invasion of another nation?

Are we somehow more "secure" because our rate of inflation exceeds any increases in the cost of living or when we have our own citizens dying from lack of access to health care and prescriptions?
----

When they can give me answers to those questions maybe I'll see KKK Karl as being a bit more grounded in reality.

44. GOTTA PREP THE PEEPS FOR THIS NEW SS FORCE! CHECK THIS OUT:
Edited on Sat Jan-21-06 11:38 AM by cyberpj
New Patriot Act creates the “Secret Service, Uniformed Division

America has never had a federal police force, but hidden in the new “Patriot” Act is language that creates just such a beast.

SEC. 605. THE UNIFORMED DIVISION, UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE.

There is hereby created and established a permanent police force, to be known as the `United States Secret Service Uniformed Division’.

The Secret Service, Uniformed Division will not operate solely in DC, but anywhere former Presidents travel, or foreign dignitaries, or even “as the President, on a case-by-case basis, may direct.” #8

A federal police force, directed by the President. Is this not the Gestapo all over again?

If the new “Patriot” Act passes, the new SSUD federal police can show up at:

(11) An event designated.. as a special event of national significance.
(12) Major Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates and, within 120 days of the general Presidential election…

A federal goon squad on hand to arrest any ‘disruptors’ during the next Presidential Election… how can you look in the mirror and tell yourself that there’s hope for 2008? Or is that just an excuse to continue doing nothing right now?

Note: This bill comes up in two weeks
