Poll question: A different kind of 2008 poll!
I know all of them are awful -- but just for the hell of it, let me ask this:

Which of the following potential Republican presidential candidates is the least horrible?

I realize this might be impossible to answer, since they all suck hard enough to bend light.

1. Ouch....
Kind of like asking which knife you'd like to be disemboweled with. This is the first time I've actually seen the probable Republican front runners spelled out in one place. It makes me sick with dread and fear for the future of mankind itself. Needless to say, I couldn't vote.

2. Hagel is the only one on that list
with an ounce of integrity or authenticity. And I do believe he's the most honest of the bunch. I have respect for him - the others :puke: :dunce:   and :+

7. A lot of Nebraska Dems prefer Hagel
to some of the Nebraska Democratic politicos...(daughter of two left leaning Nebraska Dems who voted for Hagel over his last Democratic opponent)

10. Yep. He seems to have that appeal. I kinda wish he didn't.
If Hagel runs in 08 he will be a tough debate opponent for other GOP candidates. I think he can outwit Cement-Head Allen any day of the week.

It's just that he's still a Republican and I can't get all that excited over him.

4. I get your poll, but even hypothetically, I don't vote for Republicans.
Or third parties/persons, which would be the same thing.

5. I gotta vote for Felix
Yes he's a racist dumbass, but that's just it. Not even electro-fraud can "elect" that bastard. Hagel might be the most human among them, but he's also a major stockholder and former CEO of ES&S voting machines. We don't want him on the ballot.

8. They're All Horrible
But I guess I would pick Giuliani because his pro-choice position might keep some Religious Right voters at home.

9. Winning This Poll Should be the Kiss of Death in the Primaries
The favorite of the other party's base is rarely the winner on either side. Hagel becoming the Republican candidate would be like Lieberman winning the Democratic nomination.

On the other hand, I can't imagine who the next Republican candidate is going to be. Bush has completely queered it for his brother. Giuliani is pro-abortion, divorced, liberal, and a philanderer. McCain is considered liberal by most conservatives no matter how much he sucks up to Bush. That leaves Romney and Allen. Does anyone think they're presidential timber?
