who says shrub & the gang aren't supporting "the republican guy" in ct?
closing the circle on the rumors:

lieberman runs as an independent.

the banana republicans support lieberman over the guy who officially won the republican nomination.

"the republican guy" who didn't have a shot at winning an honest election anyway, gracefully bows out in order to help lieberman.

lieberman wins.

reacting to the meme that's already out there, that the democrats will refuse to give him committee chairs or other seniority privileges, lieberman declares he'd serve the people of connecticut better as secretary of defense.

shrub appoints liberman secretary of defense and boasts about bipartisan support for all his military adventures.

connecticut's banana republican governor appoints a senator to the vacated seat -- who else but "THE REPUBLICAN GUY" who gracefully bowed out in the first place!!!

it all makes sense from a diabolical, banana republican viewpoint, and gets the incentives right for everyone. the republican guy has to have some upside in this....

1. Clearly, our ONLY good option is a Lamont win. Anything else is a LOSS.

3. Exactly how much does Lieberman have to do...
...to get kicked out of the Democratic Party? He's already stabbed the Democratic Primary winner in the back, traded chewing gum with Smirk, got downright pally with Glenn Beck, aligned himself with BushCo on all major policy issues. What does he have to do to get thrown out? Confess to the JonBenet murder?

4. wow....you even aced the landing.!
a mental gymnastics routine that truly deserves a perfect score. So concise, so fluid...and a high degree of difficulty. The back flip into the republican's appointment was where you really won it for me. Congrats :toast:
