Lake Ponchartrain is a bitch. My friend "Doodle" Smith died there.
She was on an Eastern Airlines DC-8 that crashed into Lake Ponchatraine on February 25, 1964. Her dad was a CIA pilot in Mexico City (did the "chicken run" to Havana every week). Her sister was my main squeeze for years.
