I remember the duck and cover. I, thankfully, was at the end of it, but I remember. We kids used to have to duck and cover. It was fun. It usually caused recess to happen next to allay our fears.

3. I am not afraid

of all of the terror threats and orange warnings or what ever but i am afraid of what our gov. might do in the next two years.

I recently read a book by a japanese citizen during ww2 and he tells that during the this time he was a teenager and getting bombed by the americans in tokyo or somewhere close, he wasn't mad at the americans bombing him he was mad at his gov. for making america bomb him.

is that people don't have sense enough to "fight". Most are happy for their tax cuts. That seems
to be the bottom line on most Repub boards I frequent. Don't question the government.

Am I better off than I was 6 years ago? Yes, I pay less tax. Therefore, everything is just fine.
