He's a filthy rich capitalist money magazine editor in his real life when he isn't pretending to be a populist.

3. We should all e-mail Lou Dobbs and Jack Cafferty, etc. |
|
Lou Dobbs in particular, though, because of her many guest appearances on his show and the on-air collegiality between the two.
They seem to really fear her star power and her ability to relate to people of all classes and political orientations. This isn't the first time they've targeted her.
Shocking and predictable both.
McCarthyism at its worst.

Hey while we're at it we should demand of their respective employers that Randi be given her own show! (I know I'm tilting at windmills here.)
You know damn well if she were spouting neocon garbage "the Goddess" would've had her own show long ago.
(How many hours is Tweety on a week now? Gee why don't they just give the creep his own network and be done with it!)
Thanks for the links!

18. "Thanks for the links!" no problem |
|
and don't forget tweety's little tweet-tweet show on saturdays!
yeah, give randi a show! they can call it: "randi kicks your ass!" and a segment of her show can be called "the hot seat" where she calls people out for their hypocrisy &/or dirty deeds.

I could be wrong, but I've heard that R.R. is a pseudonym, and whe won't publicly reveal her real name.
As much trouble as I stir up around here, I hope I'm not on it. I've gotta fly int St. Louis this week-end for a wedding.

If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain<<

Not sure about the butterfly... I gotta believe it was ps'd.... I mean, what are the odds?? I found it on a site where they had several weird animals, if I get time I will find a couple others and post them...

11. Her real last name is Robertson. She states it on her show quite often. |
|
Robertson isn't what you'd consider to be one of your more frequent terrorist surnames.

I am safe as I am on the voting list as a Green. Please do not tell any one I voted Dem. since Bush ran. Just thinking, R. Nader must be on the list also. Look where his family came from. The country is getting a little sick.

that makes it anti-nuclear elderly nuns, greens, quakers who don't believe in violence, democratic senators, and liberal talk show hosts. Look at all those scary evil people that this administration is protecting us from? Gee, I really feel safe--that American Friend Society member might threaten the airplane with their Bible, and that Green party member might sway someone that drinking clean water and breathing clean air is actually healthier for you, and that liberal talk show host might impart some truth on an unwitting passenger. I'm shaking in my shoes thinking of all of those scary, psycho people that the administration is trying to protect us from.:sarcasm:

26. I think it's meant to intimidate as much as anything. |
|
I think this "no-fly list" is intended as political intimidation as much as to hamper freedom of movement. I believe they targeted Randi because of her liberal bully pulpit, with the purpose of intimidating not only Randi but her listeners as well. It fulfills the same political function as their use of torture -- to serve as a warning to the masses. It's just another tool in their political suppression toolbox.

29. Ugly fact. Great material for her show, though. |
|
If I were her, and this had happened to me, I would talk about it every day. I would do my damndest to get some Bush Administration official on the phone for a recorded interview to explain exactly why I had been banned from airplanes.
If I couldn't get a Bush official, I'd keep trying. I'd try everyone on the FAA. I'd ask commercial aircraft pilots on to discuss the situation. I'd ask stewardesses...whoops, that's a sexist term...I'd ask the in-flight bartenders if they'd experienced this sort of problem.
Look, Randi loves to rag on stories. This one has especially good chew potential. And it could drive home exactly how the Bushies are trying to suppress free speech and travel.

31. If this is true, she should get a good Democratic lawyer that |
|
wants to make a name for himself and sue those bastards. That is a blatant infringement on her civil rights. Depending on the scene there, if there was public humiliation that would automatically trigger punitive damages because she is a public figure.
They would be hopeless to raise a defense of innocent error.
